About
Originally an animator and electronic musician, I eventually transitioned into film editing. As an editor, my work has screened internationally, most notably at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Berlinale, Rotterdam International Film Festival, Lincoln Center and Los Angeles Film Festival. In recent years, I’ve moved into directing, where my process is rooted in a love of fantasy and the interior mind, drawing upon nostalgia, queer identity and the black experience to make bold and unexpected narrative statements.
Currently
My debut narrative short film, Childhoods, will premiere at this year’s Outfest LA.
I’m also in the lab, percolating on a tv pilot, a web series, and feature script.
There’s a new album happening somewhere as well, supposedly.
